This paper is informed by a national scan conducted by the US Water Alliance to better understand, catalog, and accelerate the adoption of promising programs and policies
that improve outcomes for vulnerable communities through equitable water management.

The components of this research include:

  • Over 125 discussions with stakeholders
  • In-depth surveys of utilities and research institutions
  • Comprehensive literature review
  • Secondary source research on over 250 organizations
  • Consultative sessions with Us Water Alliance’s One Water Council
